Custom, Immigration & Quarantine Project (CIQ), Johor

The CIQ project is a green field project located in Johor Baru next to the present Immigration point at the causeway. An interesting and unique building, the shape of the roof resembles the form of a leaf with ample natural lightings seeping through the generous skylights. European Profiles has been contracted to design, test, supply and install the roofing envelope according to guidelines and technical specifications given by the architect. Working closely with the developer, architects, government authorities, designers, consultants, main contractors and sub-contractors, European Profiles approach in value engineering has ensured benefits to all.

Civil works for this project began in early 2003 and roof installation is scheduled to begin in June 2004. The contract is expected to be completed by July 2005.
