Kuala Lumpur Convention Center

The KLCC project, located next to the landmark Petronas Twin Towers, is in a congested area and poses unusual logistical demands. As a conventional center, it also demands stringent acoustic requirements and architectural appeal, apart from the normal functional requirements of a roof such as thermal and aqua protection.

The structure includes a multi-tier roof on a central core, plenary hall and two wings on the main building. Total roofing coverage is approximately 26,000 sq.metres. Work on this project began in December 2003 and is targetted to complete in September 2004.
