Zelan Bec Accepts Chimney Job

Kuala Lumpur: Zelan Bhd said that its 51 per cent stake consortium, Zelan BEC Consortium, has accepted the letter of award for the designing and building of a chimney for the development of Tanjung Bin’s 1x1,000 MW coal-fired power-plant project.

The job, which is valued at RM34.77 million, will take 16 months to complete.

The company expects the contract to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share.
