Strategic Significance

The elevated highway serves as a strategic alternative to Middle Ring Road II (MRR II), providing effective congestion relief along key corridors in Cheras, Pandan Indah, and Ampang, while enhancing traffic flow within the eastern Klang Valley.

The SUKE Highway establishes a vital direct connection between emerging growth centres from Kajang to Segambut and Kepong, seamlessly integrating with major regional expressways including MRR II, DUKE, AKLEH, BESRAYA, KL–Seremban Expressway, Cheras–Kajang Highway, and KESAS. This extensive connectivity strengthens regional mobility, supports economic growth, and improves overall travel efficiency across Greater Kuala Lumpur.

This elevated highway is constructed as an alternative route for MRR II providing an alternative solution and improving traffic congestion along the existing traffic linkages at Cheras, Pandan Indah and Ampang.
